Privacy Policy
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Fated LLC (“Fated”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit fated.org. This site is a company information page. We do not host file-processing tools here; for the privacy policies of our products, see pqpdf.com/legal/privacy and pqcrypta.com.
Information We Collect
1. Server Logs
Our web server logs the following for every request: IP address, timestamp, HTTP method, request path, HTTP status code, bytes transferred, referrer header, and user-agent string. These logs are retained for 30 days and used solely for security monitoring and abuse prevention. They are never sold or shared with advertising networks.
2. Contact Form
If you submit an enquiry via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is stored in a private database and used only to respond to your enquiry. It is retained until the enquiry is resolved, or for a maximum of two years, whichever comes first. It is never used for marketing without your explicit consent.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
This site uses only functional cookies (e.g., to remember UI preferences such as theme or language). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics platforms. No cookie data is transmitted to third parties.
4. No Analytics, No Trackers
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics service. There are no embedded social-media tracking widgets on this page. All assets — including fonts — are served directly from our own servers, so loading this page makes no requests to any third party and shares your data with no one.
How We Use Your Information
Information is used only to:
- Operate and secure the website
- Respond to contact-form enquiries
- Investigate security incidents and abuse
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. We may disclose information to law enforcement where required by applicable law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fated LLC or others.
Data Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Our infrastructure uses quantum-resistant key exchange (X25519MLKEM768) via the pqcrypta-proxy. Access to internal systems is restricted by firewall rules and multi-factor authentication.
Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data under the following legal bases (GDPR Article 6): legitimate interests (operating and securing the website and preventing abuse), consent (where you voluntarily submit a contact enquiry), and legal obligation (where disclosure is required by law). You may object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time.
International Data Transfers
Fated LLC operates from the United States and our servers are located in the United States. If you access this site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required by law, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (for example, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).
Your Rights (EEA / UK — GDPR)
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure (the “right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format (data portability)
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out beforehand
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email allan@fated.org. We will respond within 30 days.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. To make a request, email allan@fated.org.
Children
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
